DJFL offers a Tackle program for grades 3-8, and a Flag program for Grades 1-3 for the 2013/14 school year.

From this website, you will be able to get news, information, schedules, rosters, game results, directions and much much more. Check back frequently for the latest information about our club. Registration for the Fall programs generally is available in March or April.

The second Tackle equipment pickup is on Monday, June 3. Please be sure to mark your calendar and attend if you can. The next pickup (and last one before summer break) is on Monday, June 3. If you miss one of these two equipment pickups, the next pickups will be in August (dates TBD) and you will be assessed $100 for the first August pick-up and $150 for the second August pick-up as a special handling fee.

Board of Ed Gets Portable Field Lights Feedback

The Board of Education discussed a follow-up report on the use of temporary portable lights at the high school’s artificial turf football field Tuesday in anticipation of requesting similar usage next fall.

Lights have continued to be a contentious discussion in Darien, with strong emotions on both sides.

The one-year permit allowed the lights to be used on weeknights beginning the first Monday in November and ending at the end of the high school football season. The Darien Junior Football League was permitted to use the lights beginning Monday, Oct. 15.

Team Pages and Rosters

TEAM PAGES:
Once teams are formed (early September for Tackle and mid September for flag), to view information about your team, click on the team tab above and then navigate to your team via the drop down menus. Each team has its own TEAM page for posting information. It is the Coaches responsibility to assign someone to keep the page up to date. During the season, see Team Pages for Practice Information.

ROSTERS:
By mid-September, your rosters can be found on your team page. A "no contact" roster will be available to you for your team. You will need a passcode to obtain a roster with player details. Ask your coach to send an email to for the passcode if you are a team mom or assistant coach in need of player contact information.
